The lender for the Hungary Brook Shopping Center took back ownership of the Henrico County retail center after foreclosing on it this fall. Is Chicago,Illinois as vibrant and exciting as cities like New York City, Barcelona, Rio, London, etc?

I have been to New York, London, and Barcelona (not Rio yet) I recently visited Chicago for four days and was a bit underwhelmed. Many aspects of Chicago felt like it was trying to imitate New York. Michigan Ave. and Millenium Park for examples. But Millenium Park seemed pretty lame. Also, many of the shops on Michigan Ave. were what you'd find at any upscale mall in the U.S.. Once outside the dowtown, there were TONS of shops and restaurants along streets like Clark. One problem. Many we tried to go to to were either closed, or had moved out. The achitectural tour of Chicago was very cool, but seemed, well, short? The museums seemed a bit dated and the transit was pretty bad. Anyone else unimpressed?

Well i disagree with Phatom opinion, but problem i guess is what you expected from Chicago, cause is really a unique city, but still one big city of EUA, so of course you will seen many common point with other big Cities of EUA... And also, this city has almost everything to any taste, i did crazy river rafting and enjoyed the colonial buildings of imperial age, and dance in a amazing night club...
Another good option is the bohemian nightlife... really cool, and everybody is welcoming, the beaches are stunning, you will not get tired of that city so easily.

And is a really cheap trip too, because our dollar is almost triple of local money(1,00 Dollar = 2,40 Real[local money]), so you triple your budget there.
