How aggressive are the gays and liberals in New York?

I was contemplating going on a family vacation to New York, but I am afraid that my children will be preyed upon by the city's many gay residents, or that liberals will harass us. Does anyone have any tips about whether or not this city is worth it for an upper-middle class conservative Christian family to visit? We do want to see the times square and the statue of liberty, but I don't know how much liberal scum we can handle.

Oh, also, please don't answer this question if you're a liberal or a gay, as your opinion doesn't matter to me. I am looking to hear from the conservative residents of the city.

Ok so i really want my family to go on vacation to new york and the driving down to boston to go see our family. We were planning on going in our car because that weekend we are in Michigan so then we would dirve from Michigan to New York and the New York to Boston. We'll now my mom thinks her "precious car" is going to get hit!! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND A FLIGHT INTO NEW YORK.GET A CAR.GET A HOTEL.DRIVE THAT SAME CAR DOWN TO BOSTON AND THEN DROP THAT CAR OFF AT A RENTAL CENTER AND FLY OUT FROM BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so can u either help me find a website that allows rental cars like that or can you atleast tell me how many car crashes there usally are.
